ManTech is seeking a Master Scheduler to join our growing team supporting the USMC in Charleston, SC.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DOD security clearance.
Master Scheduler will specialize in implementing best scheduling practices for multiple projects. The candidate will provide Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) /Integrated Master Plan (IMP) support to the multiple programs at NIWC Atlantic. Creation and maintenance of program office-level schedules coincident with NIWC support. Derive team lead tasks in accordance with program management best practices. Functions will include: Development, integration and maintenance of multiple government and contractor schedules into program top-level Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and associated Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as day-to-day execution tools used by government to periodically assess progress in meeting program requirements. Development of solutions for mitigating schedule risk and achieving program goals and objectives. Reporting on program and project progress IAW the IMP at program Review and resolve critical path, inconsistencies and conflicts. Identify and recommend scheduling best practices.
Creating, Tracking, Maintaining Multiple Project Schedules and Project Plans
Provide schedule organizational support to project leads related to derived tasks
Solicit information from outside stakeholders for proper linkage of task entry and exit criteria
Identify and Maintain critical data during .mpp import and export
Produce weekly task status reports for project leadership
Create, maintain and troubleshoot project task tracking user dashboard
Should have at least of ten (10) years’ experience creating, maintaining, and tracking integrated master project schedules for programs that exceed $5M a year in cost utilizing Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling software, to include identifying the critical path, resource loading, project linking, and cost/schedule integration.
Shall have at least seven (7) years’ experience coordinating with program management the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule.
Shall have five (5) years’ experience with associating risk and risk mitigation, software and hardware requirements, status activity reports, and schedule review.
Shall have five (5) years’ experience with MS Project and working with project managers to develop detailed schedules and assist the project managers in keeping these schedules current.
At least three (3) years direct experience with DOD activity is desired.
Must be proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and One Pager
Must be able to obtain Secret clearance within 6 months of start date
Experience with developing project plans with IBM Rational Team Concert
Certifications:Any Project Management Institute Certifications or MS Project Management Certification
B.S. or relevant experience in related field.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
