Job Summary/Purpose : The Data Architect has responsibility for end-to-end architecture of data as part of the MUSC Data Function. The Data Architect works with limited supervision across Information Solution health, academic, and research data domains to design data solutions that provide value for MUSC. This role reports to the Chief Data Officer with a matrixed reporting relationship to the Enterprise Architect as part of a virtual architecture team. Helps set the data strategy for MUSC and develops roadmaps, solution paths and designs that help the organization achieve those strategies.

Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.) or related field required. Eight (8) years of related work experience required (information systems, data architecture, data warehousing, software development or other related consulting expertise).
