Oracle Principal Business Analyst in Charleston, South Carolina

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product. Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred. This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado. Clickhereto learn more about Oracle Cloud Infrastructure products and solutions. *POSITION: Sr. Business Analyst – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) LOCATION: Austin TX, or Seattle WA - US * *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Sr. Business Analyst– Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) will be part of a small team of business analysts to solve the difficult and critical problems that our business faces and develop process and frameworks to run the day to day business. Main Responsibilities: * Partner with engineering teams to determine timing and magnitude of headcount investments across various orgs * Assist in the development of monthly, quarterly and annual process to derive headcount targets and monitor to those targets. * Track, analyze and report on progress and advice to management in the areas of operations and resource management * Drive policies and procedures that monitor and support the organization’s operational and business objectives. * Develop scenario-based models to facilitate changes in strategic direction for our dynamic and fast paced environment * Partner with the engineering, product management, finance, and HR for data analysis. * Influence partner teams without direct authority to ensure business needs and goals are met. PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE * Bachelor’s degree with 8 years Business/finance experience. MBA Preferred. * Excellent understanding of cloud and Infrastructure. Experience supporting engineering preferred. * Result oriented. Ability to translate ideas into operational steps and follow through to closure. * Takes initiative to achieve value added results and ability to track the progress of multiple inquires and tasks effectively. * Ability to stay organized, prioritize objectives in a dynamic and challenging environment. * Excellent analytic skills, attention to detail. Ability to turn data into Insights. * Ability to thrive in an environment with ambiguity and change. * Demonstrated ability to work well in a cross-functional team. * Self-directed, proactive with ability to multi-task. * Energetic and positive attitude in the face of stress. * Stellar verbal and written communication skills.
