SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION: The Voice of the Customer and Customer interface with strong focus on Customer requirements and their integration into WABCO Product Creation Process. This role ensures Quality in all aspects (products, services and activities) and is widely understood with a special focus to meet customer and internal requirements. Act as “Navigator’’ of any potential misalignment/deviation during project execution and will communicate deviations into organization and to customer.


• Be single point of contact/ interface for the Project Manager and for the Customer for all quality relevant topics in the project

• Facilitate project teams in understanding, defining and adhering to the process established

• Be mandatory decision partner for project roadmap, deliveries and phase releases

• Ensure adherence to process and work instructions by conducting Quality audits, Reviews (Engineering and release)

• Validate deviations in Engineering Gate Reviews (EGRs) and recommend necessary actions

• Review the audit findings and facilitate in their closure

• Promotion of good Quality project execution by 4 eye principle

• Execute project quality tasks and provide Quality deliverables

• Ensure customer Quality requirements are understood

• Drive Quality communication with the customer

• Monitor risk management and application of consistent escalation level

• Provide functional excellence for root cause analysis through QR6S with engaged functions

• Provide transparency of overall Quality status of the project by leading team represented by different Quality pillars

• Ensure consistency of key characteristics from design to series process

• Ensure Lessons Learned process is consistently followed (input and output)

• Ensure transfer of knowledge and best practices across teams and projects

EXPERIENCE: Bachelor Degree in Engineering ( electr ical , mechanical ) or related technical ex perience

• 2 years experience in Quality Assurance area

• Process knowledge in ISO 9001/IATF 16949 , ISO 26262 Functional Safety Management , I S O 15504 Automotive SPICE, Process Audit VDA 6.3, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)

• Knowledge of Quality Tools (Automotive Quality Standards – SPC/MSA/FMEA)

• Knowledge of Root cause analysis tools (8D, Fault Tree Analysis, Pareto, Statistical Tools, etc.)

• Knowledge of Customer Specific requirements

• Knowledge regarding Product Safety Act

• Knowledge about reading process documentation (i.e. work instructions; control plans)

• Reading skills of technical drawings and documents


• Assigned tasks completed on time in WABCO Product Creation Process (WPCP)

• Representing QA in the project routines including project Engineering Gate Reviews, Project Gate Reviews and Releases

• Drive Quality Plans (Project and PE) and Quality communication

• Assure application of Lessons Learned

• Ensure availability of delivery release (Inspection Report for prototypes and customer PPAP)

• Track and report project progress from Quality stand point

• Accountable for closure of customer escalations

• Coaching engineering function

• Represent WABCO’s position to customers and suppliers
