What You’ll Do
Work amongst a team of database and site reliability engineers who have a strong focus on availability, scale and performance.
Contribute to the team’s charter in a manner that provides a continuous implementation of data platform solutions that scale and adapt to the ongoing scale and change of our platform.
Bring a deep understanding of modern-day data systems all the way from data access layers & ingest pipelines all the way through various storage options such as file-based or relational stores and the pros-cons of each
Build and maintain highly regulated environments
Build, foster, and mentor the team on the use of good processes, and utilizing proper tooling
What You’ll Bring
5 plus years of experience with database engineering and software development
Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, Postgres, NoSQL Databases, Microsoft SQL server, ElasticSearch
Ability to design and build highly scalable data pipelines and data lake infrastructure
Experience with DevOps practices in CI/CD (Docker, Kubernetes) a big plus
Experience with database source and version control, database CICD
Experience with AWS (RDS, Redis, DynamoDB, EC2, S3)
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
Experience with Establishing PCI standard implementation, automating PCI and HIPAA compliance tasks, Multi Factor Authentication
Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
Experience supporting enterprise-level SaaS products built in the Cloud
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Cross-functional developer/dba/site reliability engineer
