Oracle Senior Product Manager Cloud Enablement in Charleston, South Carolina
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

The ideal candidate should have experience in a technical sales engineering, professional training, broad technical knowledge, and strong interpersonal/communication skills. This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable working within a complex technical setting with rapid changes in requirements, direction, and environment. Real passion for helping people learn and apply technology, strong capability to deliver and support sales and channel partners, plus teamwork are all critical. As the ecosystem expands we need your help to develop and share additional content and workshops for field and partner enablement across a broad range of enterprise workloads.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to
Create technical content on OCI solutions and services, including technical deep-dive decks, experiential workshops, hands on labs (HOLs) and demos
Deliver technical, hands-on sessions to enterprise cloud architects, sales engineers, customers and partners
Present at Oracle and third party events on OCI best-practices and certification-related materials
Provide regular updates to Oracle technical seller teams as new features and workloads are launched at a very high velocity
Provide feedback to engineering and inbound Product Management teams
Continually raise the bar on our delivery, tools, and processes to provide a world-class customer experience
Key Qualifications:
6 years experience as sales engineer, technical trainer, or customer success
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related field
Strong technical cloud background and familiarity with competitive offerings
Excellent written and verbal communications and organizational skills, with the ability to present to small and large audiences
Enterprise workload/solutions experience in an area like enterprise applications, data warehouses, analytics, or applications development
Demonstrated ability to engage consultatively and think strategically
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong problem solving and negotiation skills to earn trust and influence others
