Responsible for developing complex dashboards to drive information across entities and interact with business and stakeholders, as well as analytics model engineers, to support BI data visualization in enterprise dashboards with large business user groups.
Essential Duties and Responsibilties: • Analyze data using the latest web analytics and business intelligence techniques • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets to enable business to make data-driven decisions• Interact with relevant internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements for providing ‘fit for purpose’ views of the data to enable actionable insights• Implement tools (e.g. Power BI) that help data consumers extract, analyze, and visualize data faster through data pipelines • Bring the ‘art of the possible’ to business stakeholder discussions to visualize data in a way that drives actionable insights• Have a strong usability and UX focus with analytics applications• Experience building mobile-friendly dashboards for executive audience• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related degree• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Business Intelligence with a focus on standardized data visualizations for large internal user base working in agile teams. • Experience working with large data sources/models and big data (e.g. Power BI, SQL). Technical expertise in database development, data mining and segmentation techniques.• Strong analysis skills with the ability to analyze and configure automated reporting processes.• Ideally, experience with cloud hosting services (for example, Amazon Web Services). Several years of experience in the development and training of other colleagues (experienced and junior). • Ability to collaborate with Analytics engineer on the integrated analytics model (DAX) used to support the Power BI dashboards.• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above
