Amentum System Administrator in Charleston, South Carolina

Job Summary

Amentum is currently searching for a motivated, customer-oriented Systems Administrator at multiple locations throughout the United States. The System Administrator's primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Compartments efforts.

This position has multiple locations. If a location of your choosing is filled, you will be notified. Locations include:

  • Hurlburt AFB, Florida

  • Fort Rucker, Alabama

  • Charleston, South Carolina

Daily duties of this role include:

  • Installing and configuring computer software.

  • Providing documentation for System Administration.

  • Implementing operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent AND at least five years of related experience

  • Must have a minimum of one year experience as a System Administrator

  • Must be a United States Citizen

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain favorably security clearance completed or open Tier 5 (Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI))

  • Must have at least one of the following IAT Level II certifications:

  • CySA

    • CCNA Security

  • GSEC

  • Security+ CE

  • SSCP

  • CASP+ CE

  • CCNP Security

  • CISA

  • CISSP (or Associate)

  • GCED

  • GCIH

Preferred Qualifications

  • Top Secret Clearance

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
