Maintain VMware general support system infrastructure.
Build and maintain a healthy CI/CD pipeline
Administer systems necessary to maintain CI/CD pipeline
Strong focus on quality and automation
Lead or participate in incident management to analyze failures and prevent recurrence
Deploy and manage infrastructures for next-gen cloud SaaS platforms
Contribute ideas to continuously improve systems and processes
Participating in regular on-call shifts responding to service issues
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Manage availability and performance of systems, including capacity planning
Work closely with other teams to improve the security and supportability of our systems
Provide a customer first focus
BS in Computer Science or related technical field with at least 13 years industry experience.
Minimum of an IAT level II certification. IAT/IAM level III certification is preferred.
DoD 8570-compliant (CompTIA Security+ certified)
Ability to obtain OS certification or complete approved related training within 180 days of hire
Active Secret security clearance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience providing on-call support for high priority incidents
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure such as Azure and AWS
Experience with designing and operating highly available distributed systems
Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux Operating Systems, including security hardening
Experience building custom code to interact with application APIs and SDKs
Experience with multiple Linux distros such as CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu, and Debian
Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong sense of ownership and independence
Experience working in a software application development environment
Experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins
Experience using programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Go
Experience using source control management such as git
Experience working in a highly secure environment
Operational experience with networking and an understanding of networking principles
Document processes, procedures, and contributed code
Adopt best practices for code creation, including test cases and error handling
Experience utilizing an issue tracking system for operational and code related problems
Experience reviewing security scans and remediating vulnerabilities
Familiarity with security issues in the cloud such as intrusion, penetration, and vulnerability scanning
Experience with monitoring solutions: e.g. ELK, Splunk, Nagios, Solarwinds, Wavefront, etc.…
Experience with Change Management processes and functions
Experience with various data management technologies including relational and non-relational databases and message queues
