The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.


  • The Database Administrator is responsible for defining and deploying database architecture and systems infrastructure for the military IT systems.

  • Responsible for overseeing database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation.

  • Creates strategies for performing repetitive tasks such as data acquisitions, migrations, data recoveries and new database implementations.

  • Provide IT support for the review, analysis, troubleshoot and repair of database issues.

  • Defines data requirements for database design susch as applications development, data architectures, data base management system facilities and capabilities, and the operation and tuning of data bases. and implement policies that lead to corporate solutions.

  • Establishes guidelines for security, maintenance, utilization and business continuity.

  • Responsible for working with database vendors as required to resolve database access and performance issues.

  • Perform analysis for collaboration of network / system needs and participate in planning, designing, upgrading and deployment of enterprise datacenter hardware and software using a project based timeline.

  • Provides general networking, LAN/WAN enterprise, CONUS and OCONUS deployment/TDY travel, functional training, and meetings/briefings to support AFCENT NOSC operations.


  • B.S. in related field, and 5 or more years’ relevant IT experience (preferred); OR 7 or more years’ relevant IT experience.

  • Network+ CE

  • MCSE (Server Infrastructure), MCSE (Data Mgmt & Analytics), and ITIL Foundation
