  • The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) is responsible for assisting the program manager to provide and maintain comprehensive, pro-active, integrated program management that focuses on meeting or exceeding the Air Force’s requirements.

  • The DPM provides daily management activities in the execution of the task order that includes the management and oversight of contractor personnel, including subcontractors and teaming partners, to satisfy the Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.

  • Has responsibility for managing multiple related departments.

  • Selects and hires candidates for management positions within department, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff.

  • Is responsible for the development of departmental policies.

  • The functional activities will be the most complex and decisions will have a major impact on operations for the Perspecta task order and throughout the Air Force Network Security Operations Center.



• 12 to 15 years of experience with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 10 plus years with PhD. Additional years of experience may substitute education.

• PMI Project Management Professional Certification

• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously.

• Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility


• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification.

• Understanding of the U.S. U.S. Air Force’s ranks, structure, and operations.
