BAE Systems Developement Team Lead in Columbia, South Carolina

Job Description

The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) is responsible for providing administrative, technical and legal support to all 94 United States Attorneys' Offices (USAOs) located in over 200 geographically dispersed sites throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Guam, the Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The EOUSA Office Automation (OA), Telecommunications and Technology Development (TTD), and Case Management (CM) and Information Systems Security (ISS) Staffs provide for the identification and analysis of the business needs/requirements to USAOs necessary for the design, development, and deployment of secure office automation, wide and local area networking, case management and other applications. However, all four of these staff must rely on contractors to deliver many of the high-level technical services needed to maintain the technology deployed in EOUSA and USAOs.

SCOPE OF WORK

Development Team Lead support position contracted under the NOC Task. The position will:

  • Design, code, test, and document web and business applications using various software applications, tools, and techniques

  • Collaborate with Operations and Web Development teams to create strategies to automate business processes

  • Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority and skill of personnel

  • Delve into complex technical issues while respecting timelines, team commitments, and customer processes

  • Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action

  • Contribute to the visual appeal of online offerings and communications

  • Assist with the operations and maintenance of intranet applications, as needed

  • Support debugging of customer intranet applications as needed

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelors 6-8 years relevant experience (education may be substituted with an additional 2 years of experience).

  • Experience in producing responsive, multi-platform web applications using a variety of integrated development environments, graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.

  • Experience leading a team

  • Demonstrated senior-level experience analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems

  • Demonstrated senior-level experience developing solutions using the Microsoft .Net Framework

  • Demonstrated senior-level experience translating business processes into automated software solutions

  • Knowledge of relational database design and query concepts

  • Knowledge of current web-based technologies and trends such as HTML 5, JavaScript, AJAX, and CSS3

  • Experience in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates

  • Experience mentoring

  • Experience maintaining release schedules

  • Knowledge of current web-based collaborative platforms

  • Experience with 508 Compliance standards and regulations

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with ASP.NET and C#.

  • Experience in developing MVC web applications.

  • Experience with MS SQL 2012/2014/2016.

  • Experience analyzing training needs to develop new programs or modify and improve existing programs

  • Experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2016 on-premise.

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and IDE.

  • Experience publishing and consuming web services using XML or JSON.

  • Experience using REST API.

  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

  • Knowledge of CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap.

  • Experience managing Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps.
