The Enterprise Directory Services Customer Technical Specialist is responsible for providing expertise for the resolution of technical problems, troubleshoot products and modify products to customer requirements.
Provides expert and second tier technical support for the installation and repair of complex systems and outages.
Responsible for providing support, implementing, and designing services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise, including directory and identity management solutions.
Performs daily systems monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
Responsible for performing analysis for collaboration of network / system needs and participate in planning, designing, upgrading and deployment of enterprise datacenter hardware and software using a project-based timeline.
Maintains a shared Global Address List (GAL) topology for clients to include federation with external agencies for import/export of contacts. Monitors the transfer of Global Address information between different network enterprises.
Performs the management of internal Domain Name Service (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) for active directory domains.
Develops reports and trend analysis documentation on system use to include account utilization, Directory Information Tree (DIT) accuracy, directory replication, and Global Address List (GAL) replications using with the AF Hub.
Responsible for Performing PowerShell scripting for AD administration.
Analyzes a wide array of networking metrics and recognize substandard network performance.
Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security incidents.
Determine severity and complexity of a reported issue and if necessary escalate to the appropriate specialist. Determine the troubleshooting workflow and organize support priorities.

Provides general networking, LAN/WAN enterprise, CONUS and OCONUS deployment/TDY travel, functional training, and meetings/briefings to support AFCENT NOSC operations.
B.S. in related field, and 5 or more years’ relevant IT experience; OR 7 or more years’ relevant IT experience.
Security+ or CCNA-Sec
MCSE (Server Infrastructure), CCENT, Firewall, and ITIL Foundation
