Work you’ll do:

Work with clients to understand and solve their most pressing business and technical challenges while leading a diverse talent group in support of Federal and State Government agencies. Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients’ technology leaders and help guide clients’ Cloud vision. Create new opportunities to showcase Cloud technologies and capabilities for our clients. Help lead our Cloud practice, develop our future Cloud leaders, and expand the Deloitte Cloud brand throughout the public sector marketplace.

The team:

Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our clients’ end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.

Cloud Engineering supports our clients by improving agility and resilience, while identifying opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation. We advance our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators, to achieve their vision.

Duties will Include:

  • Provide assessment of “As-Is” current state architecture including the application architecture, data architecture, technical architecture, and integration architecture of Skype for Business (on Premise), and a work with stakeholders to develop a path forward to migrate to MS Teams.

  • Provide guidance to maximize COTS and Cloud/Platform as a Service (PaaS) products (e.g., O365). Understand the product capabilities so they can be optimized against detailed technical and business requirements. Define system performance standards including scale and compatibility.

  • Evaluate and design the appropriate “To Be” target state architecture.

  • Integrate security requirements into the “To-Be” architectural design and develop the System Security Package (SSP) and participate in ATO meetings and interviews for security risk evaluations, assessments and remediation.

  • Identify, confirm, and document the differences between the requirements and what the standard functionality supports. Outline potential solutions to gaps that were identified during the gap analysis process and to finalize the gap resolution based on the to-be processes and any supporting technology applications.

  • Determine, document, and recommend options to enable data integration and management between disparate processes, systems and infrastructure, including in the Cloud, and On-premise systems that provide the desired functionality.

  • Perform ongoing technology and infrastructure assessments and make recommendations to maximize system performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • 5 years of technology industry experience

  • 3 years of experience with Office 365 strategies/roadmaps and ability to work with diverse teams to plan and develop enterprise architecture for Office 365 and supporting components

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
