The School of Medicine Greenville is seeking applicants for a Faculty Development Program Manager. The program/project manager is responsible for planning, analysis, implementation and introduction of projects in support of the professional development activities of the UofSC School of Medicine Greenville (SOMG) Office of Faculty Affairs. Collaborates with department leaders within the School and across the Prisma Health enterprise to gather information and develop work plans and support professional development activities for faculty of the medical school. Responsible to plan, initiate, manage, monitor, and evaluate faculty development projects. Maintains and communicates reports of project status, manages the project change process, manages expectations, and identifies opportunities for follow-up work or new projects. Escalates issues that impact scope, timing, or budget to Leadership and works with them to obtain additional resources as needed during project lifecycle. Performs operational and financial analyses as needed to evaluate and operationalize assigned projects. Prepares findings into summaries and documents suitable for presentation. Represents Faculty Affairs and SOMG leadership in meetings as needed to ensure continued execution and communication of project objectives. Will facilitate, coordinate and manage special projects and have oversight responsibilities for administrative and programmatic operations primarily of faculty and professional development activities, and with other operational areas within the SOMG as needed.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master’s degree in related field and 4 years related program experience, or bachelor’s degree and 6 years related experience.
