The Unified Communications Voice Network Administrator is responsible for designing and implementing Unified Communications/Collaboration voice network, systems and services (e.g., Cisco Unified Communications Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco Unity Connection & Unity Express, Dial Plans, Calling Search Spaces and Partitions, Call Admission Control) and providing engineerig support activities.
Identify and troubleshoot VoIP QoS issues, and recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
Responsibile for troubleshooting escalated issues to identify and repair complex network issues for WAN, LAN, Voice.
Must have implementation knowledge of QoS and [CAC], troubleshooting complex network regarding call routing and gateways.
Responsible for analyzing a myriad of networking metrics and recognize sub-par network performance.
Develops reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security incidents.
Acts as an on-shift training representative for both Peerspecta and AFCENT NOSC personnel to include Cisco Switches and Routers, and hardware troubleshooting disciplines on operating systems used on deployed networks.
Provides general networking, LAN/WAN enterprise, CONUS and OCONUS deployment/TDY travel, functional training, and meetings/briefings to support AFCENT NOSC operations.
Associates in related field and 3 or more years’ relevant IT experience; OR 5 or more years’ of relevant IT experience.
Security+ CE or CCNA-Sec
