Title: Architect I Location: United States-South Carolina-Fort Mill Job Number: 000027T1 Provide architectural thought leadership and guidance to a complex Mulesoft software project as well as consult on other projects as a Subject Matter Expert. Drive key cross-functional architectural solutions with other peer Architects and solution owners. Gain acceptance to ideas and overcome objections while incorporating peer suggestions. Oversee designs of technical leads and ensure software portfolio evolves towards architectural roadmap. Provide expertise in troubleshooting dense technical problems and coach/guide others to do the same. Provides operations team with complex issue resolution support/troubleshooting mentoring. Review work plans ensuring optimal delivery of quality software working seamlessly with other software solutions. Consult on integration testing plans and troubleshoot complex testing blockers. Review deployment plans and ensures their ultimate successful release into multiple CI/CD environments. Troubleshoot complex information system interdependencies to keep development teams on track and project successful. Provide review and approval for the solutions and provide representation to leadership and peers about key issues and initiatives. Be an active advocate for improving the software solution and seen as the expert for all Mulesoft issues within one or more projects across AmerisourceBergen. Provide application programming expertise and requirements/design analysis expertise to the domain and oversee other junior developers in same domain. Provide expertise in Mulesoft integration technology – architecture and implementation oversight. Provide experience from past integration projects using other technologies including Salesforce to ensure delivery of a quality integrated software project. Leverage past experience with development languages to properly engineer Mulesoft solutions and use Mulesoft concepts such as connectors, data weave and Anypoint studio in delivering solutions. Provide expertise and architectural oversight to build effective REST and SOAP based API solutions/integrations as well as using MQ for proper persistence of payloads. Responsible for identifying development tasks in support of project planning and estimation. Contribute to strategic planning meetings and provide guidance and expertise on system options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on business processes and goals. Perform code reviews. Evaluate new application packages and tools and performs research on best practices. Responsible for full software development lifecycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment, including multiple concurrent Mulesoft projects. Work with architects to assure all systems are in line with IT long-term strategy. Integrate solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework . Requires 5% travel or less. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field, and experience in the following: 3 years of application programming and requirements/design analysis experience; and programming in Java, .Net, C , or C##. 2 years of experience utilizing, gateway concepts, Servicebus, Connectors, DataWeave, and Anypoint Studio as a Mulesoft Developer; using Salesforce Integration to develop integrations to/from Salesforce with Apex and Mulesoft, Tibco, or Dell Boomi; and developing REST and SOAP API. 1 year of experience utilizing IBM MQ to store/retrieve application messages.
