As the Client Service Specialist you would serve as an "advocate" to our Clients' and their employees while supporting the Forum team. The Service Advocate’s contributions will assist the Account Management and Technology teams, along with the Client Services department, to leverage Forum’s various capabilities and services to improve client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Support day to day client service activities, such as resolving issues related to billing, eligibility, benefit explanation, claims resolution, member appeals, benefit verification, prescription problems, and medical procedure authorizations, to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Interact at all company levels, while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

  • Ensure company systems and files are updated daily; documentation should include client requests, notes, documents, and status of completion.

  • Answer incoming phone calls and apply client service activities, striving for one call resolution, if possible

  • Benefit administration as needed (adds / terms on carrier portals or in benefit administration systems).

  • Assist Account Manager and other internal staff with executing open enrollments, including preparation or review of communication materials, and performing employee presentations, if requested

  • Inside office work and occasional travel to attend open enrollment meetings and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience;Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) Required.

  • State Life and Health License or obtain within 6 months of employment.

  • Hands-on benefits experience, and/or basic knowledge of employee benefit programs, lines of insurance coverage and current service trends, are preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
