SWJ Technology Quality Engineer Part-Time and Weekends in Greer, South Carolina

Quality Engineer Part Time and Weekends

Your Tasks:

  • Collect defect parts and create corresponding case in the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Evaluate part quality issues

  • Determine the nature of quality issue (supplier, transportation, in-house,?) and define the appropriate resolution

  • As needed, work with available resources in-house, at suppliers and other service providers to investigate new issues

  • Update and keep current the corresponding case in the QMS

  • Report case status as needed

  • Maintain care of parts under investigation

  • Use modern quality assurance tools

  • Manages QA creation / approval and closure for all supplier non-conforming material issues in SAP

  • Raises complaint reports to include allocation of appropriate PPM / Costs / 8D?s

  • Adheres to timely disposition of material from Quality cage within agreed limits for supplier related non-conforming material

Your Profile:

  • Relevant Associates degree or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Quality management knowledge and experience

  • First project management experience and experience in the automotive industry desirable

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
