Novant Health Cybersecurity Solution Delivery Manager III in Indian Land, South Carolina

Digital Products and Services team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including; knowing what systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, processed, or transmitted on those systems, securely configuring those systems, knowing what events may constitute a security incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities.

The Cybersecurity Solution Delivery Manager III will serve as a core member of one or more cross-functional product teams in order to enable the delivery of cybersecurity products and services on behalf of the Chief Information Security Officer.

The solution delivery manager is responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity solutions that enable cybersecurity capabilities in support of Novant Health's mission. The solution delivery manager works on complex initiatives that may span multiple organizations, functions, and locations. The solution delivery manager adapts to a rapidly changing environment and employs novel approaches to deliver solutions that provide value to the organization.

The solution delivery manager maintains and strengthens relationships with business stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to their product teams. The solution delivery manager is responsible for leading product lifecycle management activities including: gathering customer requirements, facilitating product backlog prioritization, managing product team commitments, managing product dependencies, mitigating product delivery roadblocks, authoring and delivering communications to stakeholders, tracking and reporting quality metrics, and driving continuous improvement activities. The solution delivery manager executes their job duties with an infrequent need for instruction and/or guidance.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum five years of Solution Delivery Management/Product Delivery Management experience Required. Minimum five years of general experience in Information TechnologyMinimum two years of experience in a healthcare regulated environment Preferred.

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: ScrumMaster Certification (CSM) or equivalent Required. Project Management Professional Preferred. CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) Required.

  • Additional Skills Requirments Required: Focus in Solution Delivery: Advanced knowledge of business analysis methodologies. Advanced knowledge of solution delivery, product delivery, or product development. Advanced skill to develop productive working relationships with corporate and clinical partners. Advanced ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate skill in applying Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) principles (e.g.; COBIT, ITIL, FitSM, etc.). Advanced knowledge of business process methodologies (e.g.; Six Sigma, Lean, Agile, TQM, etc.).

Intermediate knowledge of process engineering principles. Intermediate skill in conducting capabilities and requirements analysis. Advanced ability to interpret and translate customer requirements into cybersecurity products & services. Intermediate knowledge of software development models (e.g.; Waterfall, Spiral, Agile, etc.). Intermediate knowledge of system management processes (e.g.; patch management, change management, release management, etc.). Intermediate knowledge of system design tools, methods and techniques, including automated systems analysis and design tools. Intermediate knowledge of system software and organizational design standards, policies and authorized approaches relating to system design. Advanced skill at using MS Office products. Ability to take direction as well as work with a high degree of independence. High degree of professional poise, presence, and personal integrity. Ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities. Ability to take responsibility and demonstrate ownership of delegated initiatives, tasks, and issues.

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, organization skills, and analytical abilities. Teamwork oriented. Occasional after hours and weekend work required. Ability to drive/travel to multiple regional locations/facilities as needed.

Focus in Cybersecurity:

Expert knowledge of information security program management principles. Advanced knowledge of system software and organizational design standards, policies, and authorized approaches (e.g., International Organization for Standardization [ISO] guidelines) relating to system design. Advanced knowledge of system lifecycle management principles, including software security and usability. Advanced knowledge of technology integration processes. Intermediate knowledge of information assurance (IA) principles used to manage risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information or data. Intermediate knowledge of new and emerging information technology (IT) and information security technologies.

  • Additional Skills Requirements Preferred: Intermediate knowledge of network security architecture concepts, including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth).

Intermediate knowledge of system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques. Knowledge of server and client operating systems. Intermediate knowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities.
