The Manager, Technology Solutions devises an effective strategy for executing and delivering on IT business initiatives. The Manager, Technology Solutions works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Technology Solutions acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.

  • Aids peers in staff planning and reporting with expertise in ServiceNow Resources, FieldGlass, and related reports.

  • Leads a combination of associates & contractors and mentors less senior staff and customers.

  • Partners with other IT Managers and Associate Directors in related development teams.

  • Collaborates with Architects and Tech Leads to guide systems Cloud transformation and adopt simplified Platforms as part of the Modernize Technology Ecosystem strategy.

  • Provides input and analysis that supports strategic product planning, investment and product roadmaps.

  • Prioritizes and allocates budgets to work that aligns to segment strategy and organizational goals.

  • Acts as IT Application Owner, ensures business capabilities are delivered on-time in supportable and compliant technologies.

  • Removes obstacles/barriers that get on the way to make sure products are delivered timely.

  • Requires little or no instruction on day-to-day work and general direction on more complex work.
