This role is the IT helpdesk for Samsung Electronics Home Appliance in Newberry SC.
Role and Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
Using ticketing system to manage IT support cases.
Help Desk Support
Serving as first point of contact for walk ups for internal applications, hardware, printers and remote technology
Actively support office and production PC users and resolve issues.
Escalate to upper level support as needed.
Initial Imaging, Installing and Repairs for Desktops, Printers, Laptops, etc.
Purchasing and Invoicing
Seek out and register new vendors, obtain competitive quotes, and directly purchase IT assets, consumable supplies, and services.
Process all IT related invoices in ERP solution and work closely with finance team to ensure timely payment.
Track approvals, Ordering, Payment, and Receipt of deliveries for department.
Maintain Accurate Inventory and Perform Asset inventory inspection.
Follow, Write and Maintain Accurate Documentation on procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
BS/BA or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
At least 4 years of relevant Job experience
Technically adept, with a working knowledge of computers and office software
Windows Operating system and Microsoft Office support
Candidate must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment
Basic understanding of LAN, cabling, and Networking.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience providing remote and on-site technical support
A+ certification or equivalent proof of basic knowledge
Goal oriented and self-motivated
Good organization, time management and prioritization
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines
Ability to work in a fast paced environment is crucial
Ability to learn, excel and deliver at a quick pace is required
Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus
Work in an Office and Production Line environment
Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs
Repeat the same movements.
Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
