Samsung Electronics America KPI Specialist in Newberry, South Carolina
The position is responsible for supporting the sub-assembly center office works by purchasing, managing spares and operating the resource management systems.
Role and Responsibilities

Securing all necessary materials for production.
Investigating variances between physical counts and SAP.
Tracking all departmental KPIs.
Submitting any losses during or after production daily, typically AM
Submitting PUMI’s as needed for department needs.
Skills and Qualifications
Analyzing material requirements using physical counts and production plan.
Utilizing the system to order all raw materials and components from internal warehouse as required for production.
Obtain physical counts of all materials on site as required for production.
Communicate with purchasing for any shortages seen for production needs.
Process goods receipt using the system, as needed and defined within functional area.
Investigate and define root causes for inventory variances and report findings to designated part leader.
Enter and track all department KPI’s as defined by group leader or part leader. Understand where to obtain the information and notify part leader when goals are not met.
Enter all production losses using “Unplanned GI” request process. Once approved, process through system.
Process “Unplanned GI” requests for any HALB material found defective in OBAMA area or returned from main line.
Handle any defective material received from the vendor through the RMA process to purchasing team.
Create and submit PUMI’s for any material, equipment or other needs of the department.
Pick tickets and e-pass and/or other labeling per department specifications.
Cross train in all departments in order to provide backup when needed.
Any other job duties may be assigned.
Background, Experience& Qualifications:
Must demonstrate strong problem-solving ability
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in standard office software including MS Office
Capability to learn new specific software
