Samsung Electronics America Quality Engineer - Market Quality Analysis Specialist in Newberry, South Carolina
Role and Responsibilities
The position is responsible for collecting and analyzing market defect data and leading market defect containment, countermeasures, and validation activities.

Monitor and analyze market defect data and report on a daily and weekly basis
Define market failure case with technical terms and manage theme cards for improvement activities
Communicate with related teams regarding the market issues and trend (CASR, M+2 trend etc)
Have temporary/permanent corrective actions taken in place based on discussion with related teams
Validate effectiveness of countermeasures by monitoring market defect trend
Plan and organize field investigation activities to get detailed information on market defect
Coordinate with Contact Center and SEA to better understand defect mechanism in the market
Other responsibilities as assigned by management; job duties may change at any time with or without notice
Background, Experience& Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in mechanical/electric engineering is preferred
Excellent in standard office software including MS Office
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate strong problem-solving ability
Capability to learn new specific software and system
Skills and Qualifications
- Travel domestically/internationally (25% or less)
