The Boeing Company Associate Process Analyst in North Charleston, South Carolina

The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Process Analyst to join the Infrastructure and Security Operations organization in North Charleston, SC., Bellevue, WA., or Saint Louis, MO.

This is a non-exempt position within Infrastructure and Production Operations, and will help drive business value through delivery of world-class IT Operations spanning service strategy, design and support amidst a variety of application/workload hosting solutions.

This position is critical to ensuring resiliency of Boeing's extended infrastructure ecosystem such that it is reliably available to meet the needs of the business. Operational Analysis aims to enhance IT operational practices and enable continuous insight into the performance of business services by leveraging machine learning and analytics on service request and monitoring data to drive an improvement in service quality and performance concurrent with reductions in operational risk and cost. It also ensures that new or changed services satisfy all readiness criteria and are supplied ready for live deployment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions and services with specific focus on Performance Analytics to deliver actionable insights.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate the delivery of ServiceNow Performance Analytics capabilities - service mapping, discovery, machine learning and analytics, ITOM, dashboard/reporting automation • Facilitate automation rule development to improve service quality • Promote ServiceNow platform alignment to the IT Vision / Mission / Strategy to enable business outcomes. • Drive the transition to ServiceNow through Organizational Change Management (OCM) practices across all established Capability Project Teams • Ensure appropriate operational service documentation is created and accepted by stakeholders prior to the introduction of new or upgraded services • Confirm that there are defined service commitments for each service (pattern) • Perform continuous gap analysis (future/current state), risk analysis and benchmarking readiness across the organization to demonstrate operational improvement • Capture business demand, operational metrics and communicate with service governance team(s) • Model Boeing Behaviors to help establish the culture we need to accelerate performance

Required Qualifications:

  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication

  • Experience working with data and analytics and building presentations using this data

  • Experience communicating with technical experts and explaining difficult technical concepts to non-technical business users

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with IT systems

  • Previous experience in a Business Operations role, and/or related disciplines

  • Previous experience with at least one ServiceNow implementation program supporting ITSM & ITOM

Typical Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or similar field of study preferred
