The Boeing Company is actively seeking Business process analysts to work out of either St. Louis, Plano, North Charleston, Dallas or Mesa. * * * *Position Responsibilities: * Analyzes job processes, tasks and products to determine Command Media requirements. * Coordinates with process owners to draft command media. * Assists with review and validation of command media to determine relevancy, accuracy and compliance. * Manages configuration control of command media. * Updates and maintains systems to provide electronic, real time access to data and other resources. * Trains others on command media management tools and processes. * Reviews request for change for adherence to standards and guidance. * Assesses global impact of document changes and ensures communication occurs to all effected parties. * The Office of Internal Governance and Administration has an exciting opportunity for a Policy, Procedure & Process Management Specialist! * In this role you will function as a Policy, Procedure & Process Specialist partnering cross-functionally to provide end-to-end expertise relating to the sponsorship, development, coordination, approval and release of procedures and process writings. * The PP&PM Specialist is responsible for administration activities within the Change Management and Release tool, as well as, the following: * Coordinates publication of complex command media with process owners and verifies compliance with company and industry standards. * Coordinates review and validation of command media to determine relevancy, accuracy and compliance. * Establishes requirements for command media management training. Leads development and deployment of training materials. * This position will support the 3PM Initiative in simplifying and streamlining existing policies, procedures and process writings across the enterprise. * Additionally, this individual will help identify and pursue continuous improvement efforts, as well as, partnering with peers across enterprise to ensure alignment with company improvement initiatives (e.g. 2CES, 2CHR, OEI). * The position also has the potential to lead or participate in other special projects including the analysis of global PP&PM infrastructure. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): * Bachelor’s degree required * Minimum of 3 years of experience working with policies, procedures, and processes or technical writing * Established track record of success with cross-functional projects that have challenging schedule and high impact opportunities * Established track record of meeting deliverables on time and with first-time quality Preferred Qualifications: * Microsoft Office including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, including the use of styles * Knowledge of publication standards (e.g., Boeing Style Guide, corporate identity guides, Chicago Manual of Style) * Experience with the creation of policies, procedures, processes or work instructions * Experience leading or participating on cross-functional teams, as well as building relationships with peers and cross-functional partners to drive change * Experience working in fast paced and deliverable driven environment
Typical Education/Experience: * * Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience.
