The Boeing Company is currently seeking aClient Systems Design & Integration Specialistto join the Infrastructure & Security Operations in Bellevue, WA.
We are seeking highly motivated and adaptable individuals with strong people skills who are excited about automation and installation of our products to join our Environment Build Service team. These positions administer the application environments for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Boeing Defense Systems (BDS) for Engineering and Manufacturing.
Performs Client product and component management to ensure technical viability and cost-effectiveness from the point where it is evaluated through implementation and support, to retirement. Uses technical expertise to help business partners and others by answering technical questions regarding the usage, trouble-shooting and functionality of delivery systems products to ensure effective implementation and usage of delivery system products. Applies knowledge of computing systems to choose appropriate troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex, escalated delivery systems problems. Works with appropriate product supplier for enhancements and issues not resolved in-house. Chooses appropriate computing products and methods to ensure requirements are met for security, problem management, capacity/performance management and operational management. Documents resolutions/analyses according to support procedures.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
3 years' experience repackaging COTS applications and applying customizations as overlays
3 years' experience working with Windows Installer, Clickonce and similar packaging/delivery mechanisms
Windows 10 operating system experience
3 years’ experience installing and integrating applications in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Preferred Qualifications (Desired Experience & Skills): *
WiX – Advanced packaging skills covering merging, custom actions and dealing with large-scale packages (350k files)Please indicate WiX experience on resume+ Light + Heat + Lux-based testing + MSBuild with custom WixUI + Custom Bootstrapper development
Experience with Software installation in VDI environments (Azure,XenDesktop,XenApp)
Experience using DevOps/CI-CD and supporting tools such as TFS, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git.
3 years of experience working in a full-stack environment utilizing both server-side development and client-side (web browser) development to deployment.
Experience developing applications with Windows operating systems.
Experience with hardware - software integration.
Experience with designing, configuring and supporting DevOps environment for Test Driven Development methods and Continuous Integration for Agile Development.
3 years of experience of Agile Development.
Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
Typical Education/Experience: Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
