ManTech Help Desk Support Technician in North Charleston, South Carolina

ManTech is seeking a Help Desk Support Technician to support our operations in North Charleston, SC. This position requires an active SECRET security clearance.

Position Overview:

  • Responsible for providing support to end-user community on hardware, software and network related problems, questions, and use.

  • Provides resolutions to out of the ordinary issues for users.

  • If unable to diagnose problem, will work with Help Desk Management to diagnose and resolve problem.

  • Responds to tier two and higher trouble tickets.

  • Ensures problem ownership and promotes end-user satisfaction. Closes activities of tickets assigned.

  • Shift work, responsible for providing 24/7 seven days per week support to end-user community on hardware, software and network related problems, questions, and use.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for help desk personnel in the organization. Interfaces with multiple levels of users concerning first level needs to help desk personnel.

  • Interfaces with carrier representatives to obtain pricing, service selection, and billing information.

  • Provides conference calling, fax and E-mail directory support through the use of multiple platforms and applications.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent, and zero to six months of related experience.
