What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI has an immediate need for an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to work in our Charleston, SC office. (Remote during COVID-19) The ISSE is a growth opportunity on an Information Security team, specializing in Application Security for a large US Government owned system written in Java.

Mid-level position with potential growth opportunity on an Information Security team, specializing in Information System Security Engineering (ISSE)
Deploying and operating industry standard vulnerability scanners (Nessus), configuration management and orchestration tools, identity and access management controls, etc.
Updating POA&Ms, trackers, and multiple A&A packages in eMASS.
Entering findings and vulnerabilities into the JIRA work management tool for analysis, severity, triage, and remediation.
Proactive collaboration and communication both internally within the Information Assurance teams and externally with the ProdOps and Architecture teams.
Creation and modification of python tools to automate processes
Interaction during various audits for FISMA, Security Controls Assessments (SCA) and Authority to Operate (ATO)
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Five years of experience in Information Security utilizing the NIST 800-53 control set and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Associates degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field, preference given to Bachelor’s Degree in same.
Basic understanding of information systems, cloud technologies, and information security
There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a Public Trust.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Functional knowledge of one or more of the following: RHEL, OpenShift, Chef, Nessus Security Center, AWS Config, AWS IAM, AWS CloudTrail, AWS CloudWatch, AWS KMS, Python, etc.
Previous CTF or simulated Red Team / Blue Team experience at any level.
Entry level InfoSec certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP Associate are strongly preferred.
