What You’ll Get to Do:CACI has an immediate need for a Software Developer in our North Charleston, SC office, to be part of an Agile Development Scrum team providing web application in support of a government customer.
More About the Role:
Formulates and develops detailed specifications, code, documentation and related customer information required to complete program development maintenance activities; prepares program logic flow charts and processing diagrams.
Prepares detailed specifications for programs.
Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
Analyzes, codes, tests and documents complex programs.
Creates and/ or modifies complex programs to meet user requirements. This includes testing program and system changes.
Analyzes and documents existing application systems to determine processing requirements.
Confers with project manager and representatives of departments affected by program to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, extent of automatic programming and coding use and modification, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
Designs and develops client applications; meets with clients/functional SMEs to determine program requirements.
Prepares documentation and related information.
Tests and corrects program errors by altering program steps and sequence.
Analyzes, reviews, and rewrites programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Identifies problem areas and recommends solutions and standards.
Acts as a member of a product team, supporting teammates.
Active participation in planning activities, artifact creation, back-end development, testing, and demonstrations.
Analyze project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools and solution components.
Update and develop test automation and applications changes; test and document changes.
Assist with technical documentation.
Ensure product quality and timeliness.
Assist with other program efforts (such as test automation, configuration management, etc.)
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
2+ years’ experience as a software developer
Familiarity and experience with DevOps / SecDevOps
Experience in Engineering, Systems Analysis, Medical Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture,
Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements.
Experience in support of information assurance/network protection or virtualization projects.
Experience with Continuous Delivery pipelines
Strong verbal/written communication skills
Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, especially Agile
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to follow established development processes and procedures to include Sprint planning and code reviews
Ability to debug / trace code and resolve issues quickly
Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active Secret clearance
Experience with JBoss, ansible, RedHat, bash scripting, python, CloudFormation, AWS (edited)
Experience with Atlassian tools - Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo
Experience in network administration or troubleshooting
Experience with J2EE, Angular, Hibernate, Git, Agile, Cyber Security, MySQL, Spring MVC.
Experience managing Java app servers.
Experience with Cyber Security
