SC Department of Public Safety Document Control Supervisor - Columbia in Richland County, South Carolina

Job Responsibilities

This position reports to the Unemployment Insurance division in Columbia. Incumbent will provide day-to-day oversight and work prioritization for a team of document specialists who are responsible for scanning, indexing and archiving documents into the agency's imaging system. Provides technical advice, guidance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to ensure productivity, efficiency and quality control. Ensures accessibility, accuracy, and integrity of agency documents. Serves as project lead for agency imaging initiatives. Adheres to record retention policies, safeguards information, and identifies opportunities for process improvement.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A Bachelor's degree and experience with records management, imaging, and workflow processing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

At least one year of supervisory experience.
