SC Department of Public Safety Project Coordinator - Columbia in Richland County, South Carolina

Job Responsibilities

This position reports to the Business Solutions department in Columbia. Incumbent will assist the project management team in managing enterprise projects by using accepted project management principles through all phases of the project life cycle. Prepares materials for, contributes for, and reviews project management documentation and plans. Serves as a facilitator and note taker for project meetings. Serves as a business analyst for projects by being responsible for capturing business requirements.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience in a responsible administrative role with exposure to business or technical projects. At least three years of experience interacting with customers and/or program team members to coordinate and document business activities and communications.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of project management principles, tools, and techniques.
