Mission 1st Help Desk Manager in Shaw AFB, South Carolina

In this role, you will manage and coordinates urgent and complicated support issues. Act as escalation point for all requests and incidents. Other responsibilities are listed below:

  • Train and coach help desk technicians

  • Oversee staff activities

  • Interact with internal and external customers

  • Builds/obtains training material for support staff

  • Provide data and reporting to other departments as needed

  • Associate degree or Equivalent (two-year college or university) in any field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • One or more (1+) years’ experience in helpdesk operations

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Security+ certification

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Possess strong problem-solving skills

  • An understanding and experience with large, complex IT projects and organizations

  • A commitment to your profession demonstrated by participation in providing support, guidance and memberships in professional associations
