Mission 1st Help Desk Technician in Shaw AFB, South Carolina

In this role, you will provide support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access, and hardware issues. Responds to telephone, email, and online requests for technical support. Other responsibilities are listed below:

  • Installs, configures, and upgrades computer hardware and software

  • Provides phone and help-desk support for local and off-site users

  • Responds to and diagnoses problems through using established procedures ensuring all actions taken are documented in the assigned ticket

  • Provides troubleshooting and support

  • Associate degree or Equivalent (two-year college or university) in any field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • One or more (1+) years’ experience in helpdesk operations

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Security+ce certification

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Possess strong problem-solving skills

  • An understanding and experience with large, complex IT projects and organizations

  • A commitment to your profession demonstrated by participation in providing support, guidance and memberships in professional associations
