Job Location:Shaw AFB, SC

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret to TS/SCI clearance

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.

Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is seeking an experience Project Planner II to support our on-site team based Shaw AFB, SC. The contractor shall support the Government Command and Control (C2) radios and airfield systems.

Tasks shall include:

  • Coordinate with higher Headquarters (HQ) staff to identify and resolve technology limitations and maintenance and depot issues and deliver reliable air navigational equipment to the Combined Forces Air Component Commander (CFACC), Air Operations Center, and SWA theater bases.

  • Plan and implement systems upgrades to integrate emerging technologies throughout SWA as directed.Implement projects to improve the reliability and operational effectiveness of deployed tactical and commercial C2 systems.

  • Assist and monitor resources for C2 systems projects and submit recommendations for future requirements as required.

  • Manage the Joint Radio Relay System (JR2) network/architecture.

  • Manage projects and new requirements to improve the reliability, logistics supportability, and operational effectiveness of support to deployed tactical radio, wireless, and Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems communications systems.

  • Coordinate with staff functions to obtain the necessary supplies, equipment, and personnel resources to rectify technical and sustainment problems in supported deployed units.

  • Provide analysis and recommend methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance procedures.

  • Coordinate radio communications system and network upgrades to integrate emerging technologies into deployed locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Intermediate level of experience in planning and scheduling various project workload.

  • Experience in gathering and analyzing information to prepare status reports.

  • Must have experience in ensuring that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy.

  • Must have experience in evaluating current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with the following:

  • Managing, supervising, and coordinating military communication systems

  • Planning and implementation activities,

  • Managing communication architecture, configuration, and integration conformity,

  • Working and communicating with military officers.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret to TS/SCI clearance

Education:

  • High School Diploma

Certification Requirements:

  • PMP Certifications or similar work experience.
