Mission 1st Systems Administrator- VMWare in Shaw AFB, South Carolina

In this role, you will build and install computer infrastructure, which encompasses hardware, servers and virtual machines using a VMware environment. You will configure it for production by creating user accounts, controlling access to networks, and managing storage and security settings. Other responsibilities are listed below:

  • Design, implement and maintain VMware infrastructure

  • Monitor, troubleshoot and capacity planning of VMware environment

  • Proactively identify and perform hardware and software upgrades

  • Evaluate new products and recommends updates and upgrades

  • Associate degree or Equivalent (two-year college or university) in any field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • One or more (1+) years’ experience in Systems Administration VMWare

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • An understanding and experience with large, complex IT projects and organizations

  • A commitment to your profession demonstrated by participation in providing support, guidance and memberships in professional associations
