The Azure Technical Solutions Specialist, FNTS provides the necessary leadership, facilitation, analysis and designs related to the development of an enterprise technical architecture that ensures the success of enterprise-level technology rollouts. This role is also accountable to provide guidance which ensures the reliability, interoperability and sustainability of the technology and information solutions FNTS adopts. This role works closely with Information Security, Technology Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers, FNTS leadership and as needed with customers. Primary focus will be on Microsoft Azure and M/O 365.

This role can be located anywhere in the US since this role will be remote/work from home. Applicants must be willing to travel about 10-20% if needed to visit onsite with customers.

Azure Technical Solutions Specialist for Customer Acquisition

  • Responsibilities:

  • The Azure Technical Solutions Specialist for Customer acquisition is a senior technical solutions specialist within our sales organization, focused on bringing on new managed customers onto the Azure platform.

  • As part of this role you will help realize the Company’s key strategic focus to increase our customer base of Azure customers.

  • To achieve this, you will need to work with the sales executives to leverage every avenue available to support new acquisitions.

  • You will lead a virtual team of technical and partner resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed Azure new customer acquisition targets.

  • You will help customers evaluate the Azure cloud platform for their applications, recommend solutions that meet their requirements, remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • You will achieve this by positioning FNTS’ technical team to become a trusted advisor and drive migration and innovation solutions

  • You will work with a team of FNTS Microsoft experts and to lead presentations, demonstrations and architecture design sessions with the objective of driving rapid adoption of Azure and office 365 solutions.

  • Importantly, this adoption will need to result in tangible business outcomes to ensure customers continue to grow their Azure footprint into the future.

  • You will stay sharp, attaining and maintaining required certifications.

  • You will present the solution to senior technical executives. Qualifications include:

  • Must have Solid Experience in Designing and Solutioning Azure Environments

  • Must be able to price our an Azure solution with the Microsoft pricing tool

  • Solution and design Microsoft 365 environments

  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 and Office 365 ecosystem

  • Experience with Exchange, Hosted Email, Google mail migrations

  • Must have done multiple migrations to Azure

  • Must have solid experience in Migrations from AWS to Azure, GCP to Azure, On Premise to Azure

  • Understanding of Microsoft CSP

  • Be responsible for advising and delivering on large cloud migration engagements

  • Server IaaS implementation, Availability sets, Azure Networking concepts, Express Route, DNS, Load Balancing, Storage. Migrating applications to Cloud using Tools like AppZero, ASR etc.

  • Experience working with Sales teams in writing Proposals and presenting to C-Level Executives.

  • App Services, Azure SQL Database, SQL Server IaaS implementation, Availability sets, Azure Networking concepts, Express Route, DNS, Load Balancing, Storage

  • Knowledge about the challenges and considerations to be catered for while migrating applications from on-premise to Azure. Technology architecture which meet HA, DR, Availability, RPO & RTO requirements of the application

  • Migrating applications to Cloud using Tools like AppZero, ASR etc will be nice to have.

  • Fundamental knowledge of AWS is desirable and understanding on how Azure IaaS v/s AWS IaaS compares to each other and conceptual knowledge of AWS RDS is desired.

  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Expert desirable

Additional Qualifications:

  • Education Qualification: Graduate or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience in designing and providing solutioning in Azure Environments

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to travel 10-20% if needed

Certifications : Should hold AZ-300, AZ-301 certifications or any equivalent specialization Azure certifications. (At minimum AZ-104)
