The ServiceNow Platform Team is looking for an individual who wants to be a part of taking the team to the next level. The ideal candidate values working in an Agile environment as part of a high performing team, enjoys collaboration with business partners, has a true passion for workflow automation, and possesses the ability to see the big picture while delivering incremental value.

In this role you will perform day to day administration of the Platform as well as work with process owners to define and refine user stories ultimately helping the team configure and implement solutions. You will be a key contributor in increasing adoption and consumption of platform capabilities by ensuring that enterprise IT business services can be deployed in a time, place, and configuration ideal for serving our customers and internal partners. You will also develop a comprehensive understanding of the current state and assist in the development of future state strategies specific to ServiceNow platform capabilities.

  • Develop systems integrations and process automation, fully utilizing the platform’s workflow capabilities including, orchestration.

  • Create Service Catalog forms and views, configure modules and labels, build reports, dashboards and homepages. Utilize Performance Analytics to collect historical data.

  • Help coordinate application and platform upgrades.

  • Assist in gathering and/or reviewing customer process requirements and assisting on how they map to ServiceNow, driving platform expansion and adoption.

  • Scope solution requirements and configure solutions around the ServiceNow platform to meet customer needs and project deliverables

  • Consider architectural dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable

  • Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end automated solutions which includes technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, workflow customization, ticketing, process automation, report development, dashboard creation, and system configurations

DESIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

You are a builder who loves to get in and do things but also an analyst who values digging into the details and extrapolating out to view the bigger picture.

Required:

  • Previous experience working with Relational Databases.

  • Previous experience with the ServiceNow Platform;

  • Three or more years direct experience administering or developing on an enterprise class platform.

  • Five or more years direct experience in an increasingly complex enterprise information technology environment with emphasis on IT Service Management. Cloud operations experience a plus.

  • Familiar with ITIL and COBIT frameworks.

  • Experience Javascript and HTML

  • Self starter with ability to effectively collaborate in a remote work environment

Desired:

  • Certification as a ServiceNow System Administrator or Developer

  • Experience with front end web technologies (CSS, Angular, Jelly)

  • Experience with other workflow tools
