American Credit Acceptance Loss Mitigation Specialist- Total Loss SCRA in Spartanburg, South Carolina
Assist customers in handling their insurance total loss, repair claim and servicing active SCRA accounts in a timely manner while educating our customers on the process.

Receiving and returning calls/emails to Insurance companies, customers, and repair shops.
Send out Letters of Guarantee and copies of titles to the customer’s insurer for total loss payments.
Follow up with the insurance companies by working from their daily list.
Use Wells Fargo, Dealer Track and title scan to request titles for insurance claims.
Flip the original title into a repo title with assistance from ACA titles repo department.
Handle Insurance Repair Checks.
May be responsible for identifying SCRA eligible accounts and making proper adjustments for proper SCRA protection
Daily account audits to ensure that the Department of Defense scrub is being review for proper SCRA adjustments
Educating our customers on the benefits of SCRA protection
Understanding SCRA laws

High School diploma or GED; or at least 1 year of collections experience required
Adept at navigating various computer applications

Advanced knowledge of company products, services, policies, procedures, collections systems, and how to apply this knowledge
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional weekends may be required.
No travel is expected for this position.
