American Credit Acceptance Systems Analyst I in Spartanburg, South Carolina
This unique role supports the business segment through building lasting relationships with software vendors for systems utilized within the business segment as well as becoming a subject matter expert and system admin. This position will maintain and perform the vetting process for key third-party applications in addition to documenting user instructions and other system information.

Establish and maintain working relationship with vendors to support and enhance selection applications.
Perform research on software and hardware products to support business operations.
Provide documentation, orientation, and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
Serve as Spartan’s IT Liaison on strategic and tactical initiatives.
Work with project and management team to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Participate in design sessions in prototyping new systems for enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems.
Provide timely updates on system changes to management including escalation of issues.
Other tasks as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or other related field
1+ years of experience leveraging Excel and Excel Macros to extract, manipulate and report on business operations
1+ years of experience leveraging SQL to query data lookup and report findings
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform research into systems issues and products as required
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

4+ years of experience leveraging Excel and Excel Macros to extract, manipulate and report on business operations
1+ years experience with SQL

Experience in financial or lending industry is a plus
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday with some schedule variations as needed. Hours may vary or exceed 40 in any given week depending on the needs of the business.
Up to 20% travel may be needed in this role.
